AUB Group, the Sydney headquartered international network of brokers and underwriting agencies, has announced strong profits in its FY25 financial results. Underlying net profit after tax (NPAT) grew more than 17% or by AUD$200 million, an almost AUD$30 million increase on FY24.

“FY25 was a pivotal year for AUB Group, marked by solid financial results, international expansion, and operational progress across all divisions,” said Group CEO Michael Emmett (main picture) in an ASX announcement released today.

The Australian broking division’s profit’s rose by more 12%, to AUD$135.6 million. New Zealand’s broking division saw a smaller profit increase of just over 2% or AUD$23 million.

The Group’s agencies, including Tysers, reported a pre-tax profit increase of 30% to AUD$72 million. The investor presentation said agencies saw “excellent revenue growth of 25.1% and margin expansion to 44.2%.”

BizCover, the firm’s insurance platform that sells some products directly, reported a 15% growth in revenue, to more than AUD$100 million.

FY25’s dividend was AUD91 cents per share, an increase of 15.2% compared to FY24.

Emmett said the Group enters FY26 with “a clear focus on disciplined execution, strategic investment, and continued optimisation.”
